Chris Murphy

Three things you liked about your role this year?

-
I enjoyed sparking a lot of positivity into the club this year. We received tremendous praise at competitions this year for our energy and enthusiasm.
-
I enjoyed working with such a hard-working team, despite many of us being in final year. The committee we had this year was a pleasure to work alongside.
-
I liked the responsibility of making decisions for the club this year. I always had the club's best interests at heart and am delighted with how well we did this year.

Why should someone go for this role next year?

If you love UCD Trampoline as much as I do and want to see this club grow and prosper for years to come, who better to lead next year's committee than you. You have the potential to drive next year's committee to reach the heights we know we can reach. You have the tools and resources to make this club the best club in UCD. A captain mans the ship and you can be the one to steer it in the right direction. You can do it.

Emer Clune

Three things you liked about your role this year?

-
Getting new members signed up at Sports Expo.
-
Being involved in organising some club events and helping make this club the amazing club it is!!
-
Chasing Abi Farmer for her Garda Vetting.

Why should someone go for this role next year?

It’s great to get involved and help keep the club running in the background! Without the work Secretary does, we wouldnt have any coaches let alone any members! Generally most of the Secretary workload is at the start of both semesters, so keeping on top of it early on, makes it lighter during the semester.
Conor Kiely
Head Coach
Three things you liked about your role this year?

-
Getting to train with a group of people who really enjoy the sport.
-
Working with the Ass-Head (Po) and the rest of the committee to keep the club running.
-
Watching people learn and improve all on their own or with other coaches and somehow getting credit for it.

Why should someone go for this role next year?

If you enjoy coaching, organising, and helping people learn to do cool shit without dying, this is the role for you.

Organising gym sessions to make everyone buff

Why should someone go for this role next year?

To improve their coaching skills and to show your coaching talent to the club!
Gwen Collins
Competitions Officer
Three things you liked about your role this year?

-
Organizing competitions (obviously), making timetables, forms, panels, info packs etc. Being responsible on the day of competitions too, although sometimes stressful I loved getting the work done and making my silly little excel sheets to make everything easily accessible and easy to understand for everyone!!
-
Helping everyone out during competitions, making sure they were well prepared and confident, and answered any questions they had beforehand.
-
Making sure everyone felt heard and included, asking the club what they wanted in terms of accommodation for competitions, allowing people to change levels or add in new entries to competitions even if it was late as I wanted everyone to be happy and included in whatever way they wanted! Essentially making sure nobody was left out.

Why should someone go for this role next year?

-
If you love trampolining (I’m sure you all do) and have a passion for organization and keeping busy behind the scenes.
-
If you are prepared for a lot of self driven work and motivation, a lot of the work is down to you and there’s definitely a lot of it, make sure you’ll have time in the year to dedicate to the role!
-
If you have experience with organizing competitions or events it would definitely help you!
-
If you work well on your own but also as a part of a team as a lot of the work for competitions required collaboration with other committee members, and liaison with other clubs, UCD Sport and places for accommodation.
